We understand that many people are wanting to get back to some normality but the measures we have followed for the past year do not impact on our delivery of services and more importantly, ensure continued safety for everyone.
Throughout this awful pandemic, we’ve focused on making sure everyone can get the materials they need in a safe environment. As the Government guidance changes today, we wanted to update you on our approach to the safety measures that will remain at our sites, quarries, offices and waste recycling centre.
Whilst the easing of restrictions means that some safety measures will no longer be a legal requirement, we’ve listened to our industry body and the HSE, who advise members that all existing controls and measures remain in place to manage Covid-19 risk in the workplace over the coming weeks. Furthermore, we have asked our customers and our staff and we understand that a lot of people want to remain cautious as well.
Therefore, in line with the Government advice to act carefully, we feel it’s important to continue with certain measures to be on the safe side. So we will be continuing to follow the HSE COVID-SECURE control measures (Hands, Face, Space and Ventilation):
We hope you can understand our decision and thank you for your cooperation with this.
Regards
